Since that day, I have noticed so many more times that she is "helping" me. I've really tried to make it a point to show her my appreciation and let her know what a great job she is doing. I can see the joy in her little eyes when I take notice and make a big deal out of something she has done for me. It is precious.

I've had moments like that, too, and I usually end up feeling like a terrible mother when I realize that my child was actually helping and not trying to destroy something. May God give me patience during those times... I need it so deperately all the time.
ReplyDeleteI needed that smile and boy these stories are really great and I am sure something your family will appreciate in the years to come. Its like an online scrapbook of your Holy Journey and Family. You have done a wonderful job
ReplyDeleteCatching them doing good is sometimes challenging, lol, but SO worth it! It works SO much better then only commenting when they are naughty! You are absolutely a wonderful mother!
